Getting Started
This guide walks you through installing Frog Radar, configuring basic preferences, and running your first crawl.
1. Install Frog Radar
Download the installer for your operating system from the Download page. We support Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 11 or later (Intel and Apple Silicon). Run the installer and follow the prompts. No account is required to start the free tier.
2. Launch and preferences
Open Frog Radar from your Start Menu or Applications folder. On first launch you can leave defaults or open Settings to adjust:
- Crawl scope — Limit URLs (e.g. same subdomain only) or allow external links depending on your goal.
- Request delay — Be polite to servers; a small delay is recommended for large crawls.
- Proof report branding — Add your logo or company name for client exports (Pro/Agency).
3. Run your first crawl
Enter any website URL in the crawl bar and click Start. Frog Radar will discover pages, run checks, and list SEO issues. When the crawl finishes, open the Fix Plan to see prioritized recommendations (Top 10 and Quick Wins). From there you can export a proof report or run a Replay/Compare scan later to track changes.
