AI Visibility setup (BYOK)

AI Visibility lets you use large language models to track how your site or content is mentioned or cited—with your own API keys (Bring Your Own Key). We don't store or markup your keys; you pay your provider directly.

What you need

You need an API key from a supported provider (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, or another compatible endpoint). Enter it in Frog Radar under Settings → AI Visibility. The key is stored locally on your machine and used only when you run prompt packs or citation checks. It is never sent to Frog Radar's servers.

Prompt packs

Prompt packs are pre-built prompts you can run against content or URLs. For example, you might run a "visibility" pack to see how a page or topic is described, or a "citation" pack to check if your content is cited. You can use our default packs or add custom prompts. Results are shown in-app and can be referenced in your workflow; they are not shared with us.

Citation and mention tracking

Use AI Visibility to track when your brand, content, or URLs are mentioned or cited in model outputs. This is useful for SEO and brand monitoring. You configure what to look for (e.g. your domain, key phrases), and Frog Radar uses your key to run the checks. All usage counts against your provider's quota, not ours.

Availability

AI Visibility is included in Pro and Agency plans. You only need a valid API key from a supported provider; no extra fee to Frog Radar. Free tier does not include AI Visibility.
